San Francisco remembers the 100th anniversary of the Earthquake in 1906

San Francisco just celebrated their 100th anniversary of the 1906 earthquake that brought the city to it's knees. The magnitude 7.8 earthquake which struck at 5:12 a.m on April 18, 1906 killing more then 3,000 people and leaving more then 225,000 people homeless was remembered with a moment of silence, a wreath laying and short interviews with the survivors which was followed by a parade down Market Street in downtown San Francisco. Some experts say that if the same magnitude earthquake were to hit San Francisco today we would have an even worse outcome.
